Terms of sale
The rules of the game, in plain words
What you're buying, how we work, how to cancel and how refunds work.

1. Who they apply to
These terms govern orders for services bought on the farostudio.ch website from Faro Studio, Lugano ("Faro"). By paying for an order you accept them. If you have agreed different conditions in writing, those apply.
2. Services and prices
The services, what each package includes and the prices are those shown on the website's pages at the time of the order. Prices are in Swiss francs (CHF), excluding VAT; if VAT is due, it will be shown separately. Third-party costs such as printing, postage, SMS, venue hire, prizes and creator fees are not included, unless stated otherwise on the package page: you pay them directly to the suppliers, at cost. Where a price is "from", that is the starting point: if the work requires more, we tell you and agree the price before going ahead.
3. Order and payment
Payment takes place on Stripe's secure page, with the methods you see when paying. The contract is concluded once the payment has gone through and we have sent you the confirmation by email. We never see or store your card details.
4. How we work
- We start after payment and once we've received the information and materials we need from you (text, photos, logins). The timings shown are indicative and depend on how quickly you reply.
- We show you a first draft, and each package includes the number of revision rounds stated on its page (for example 3 for websites). Extra revisions or requests outside the package are agreed beforehand, and may be charged.
- Nothing is published in your name without your approval.
- For some services we use artificial intelligence tools to prepare content; we check it and you approve it before publication.
5. Monthly packages
Monthly packages renew every month, charged automatically to the payment method you chose. You can cancel at any time, with 30 days' notice, by writing to ciao@farostudio.ch: the service and the charges continue until the notice period ends, then stop.
6. Refunds
- If we haven't started work yet: full refund.
- If work has already started: a refund in proportion to the work not yet done.
- After delivery: no refund, except for defects we're unable to fix with the included revisions.
To request a refund, write to ciao@farostudio.ch stating your order number. The refund goes back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 working days.
7. Your content and rights to the work
The materials you give us remain yours, and you confirm you have the right to use them. Once paid in full, you hold the rights of use to the work we deliver (text, graphics, pages) for your business. We reserve the right to show the work as an example in our portfolio, unless you ask us not to.
8. What we can't promise
We work carefully, but we don't guarantee results that depend on others, such as your position on Google, followers or sales. Our liability is limited to the price you paid for the service in question, except where the law does not allow it to be limited (intent or gross negligence).
9. Complaints
If something isn't right, write to us at ciao@farostudio.ch: we reply within 1 working day and first look for a solution together.
10. Refer a friend's business
If a new business chooses a package of 100 CHF or more, it can use the code AMICO30 at checkout: it gets 30 CHF off its first order. Whoever referred it (named in the "Who sent you?" field) gets 30 CHF off their next order, once the friend's payment has gone through.
- The code is valid once per new business, meaning one that has never ordered from us, and is applied by Stripe on the payment page.
- The discount cannot be combined with other offers and does not apply to amounts already paid.
- The referrer's discount is confirmed to you by email after the payment and applies to your next order.
- We may change or end the offer at any time: orders already paid with the code remain valid.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Lugano, subject to mandatory places of jurisdiction protecting consumers.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; each order is governed by the terms in force on the day you pay.
